Terms of Use
These terms describe the current rules for using HOOPVERA accounts, organized basketball Runs and the Captain application experience.

Using HOOPVERA
By using HOOPVERA, you agree to use the service lawfully and provide accurate information. HOOPVERA organizes pickup basketball through player reservations, payment, arrival and check-in, waitlists, court assignments, and Run operations.
Accounts and age eligibility
You are responsible for your account credentials and for information submitted through your account. HOOPVERA V1 participation in basketball Runs is limited to players who are at least 18 years old. A participating player must provide an accurate date of birth, and HOOPVERA may use that information to enforce age eligibility. Access to player, profile, staff, and operator surfaces also depends on the applicable authentication and authorization requirements.
Runs and reserved participation
Run availability, capacity, commitment state, arrival requirements, and waitlist position are shown in the product. A player must satisfy the applicable age eligibility, reservation or commitment flow, and displayed arrival or check-in requirements to participate. HOOPVERA may enforce the operational state shown for a Run so play can remain organized.
Price and payments
The current HOOPVERA Run price is $20 per player. Stripe processes payment information. Depending on the displayed Run flow, HOOPVERA may save an eligible payment method, authorize a charge, capture an authorized amount when the Run is confirmed, or release an authorization when the Run does not proceed. The product’s displayed payment state controls the transaction.
Arrival verification
Some Run flows allow a player to verify arrival using browser location permission. The location must meet the venue’s configured arrival requirements. Staff may have separate authorized tools for operational check-in.
Captain applications
Submitting an application does not guarantee selection, activation, a scheduled Run, or compensation. Qualified applicants may be contacted to plan a first HOOPVERA Run. Eligible Captains can earn cash based on qualifying completed player activity under Captain terms provided before activation.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with Run or court operations, submit deceptive information, or use another person’s account or payment method without permission.
Service changes
HOOPVERA may update product features, availability, and these terms as the service develops. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date on this page.
